Save-A-Pet is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue
organization founded in 1977 and based in Niagara County, NY. Save-A-Pet
is staffed by volunteers and is dedicated to saving the lives of homeless, abused, and neglected dogs and cats. Our foster homes provide a safe haven for all the animals that are taken in. All animals are checked by a veterinarian, vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and receive any needed medical treatment in order to maximize the success of their placement in carefully-screened homes. We are funded by charitable donations which go to the care and medical needs of the animals we rescue.
In addition to rescue, Save-A-Pet believes in educating the public on the
benefits of spay/neuter and offers assistance by facilitating numerous low-cost spay/neuter clinics throughout the year. Save-A-Pet believes that all animals should be treated with respect and deserve a chance to live in
a safe, loving home.

Thank you to Fran's Gifts & News in Cheektowaga for a very successful basket fundraiser in June. We raised well over $1000 and met a lot of very nice animal lovers in the process.

Thank you to Jim's Pool and Pet Supply in Lockport and Rhinehart's in Middleport for hosting our last three Pick-A-Pet shows. You can help us thank these businesses by supporting and telling them that you are a Save-A-Pet member.
