~2017 Free Rabies Clinics~

The County Departments of Health in cooperation with the Niagara Frontier Veterinary Society will hold FREE Rabies Immunization Clinics in 2017. Residents may attend any outside counties clinic if they choose.

By law, all cats, dogs and domesticated ferrets must have a current rabies vaccination from four months of age and on.

Cats and dogs receiving immunization without proof of a previous rabies immunization will receive a certificate valid only for one year. Cats and dogs WITH PROOF of previous rabies immunizations will receive a certificate valid for three years.

All Animals must be properly restrained. Cats & Ferrets must be in a carrier. Dogs must be leashed.

It’s getting to be that time of year. The turkey, gravy, pumpkin pie, and maybe even a little left over Halloween candy delight our taste buds. We look forward to these delectable goodies all year long, and when the holiday season begins, we often want to gobble down everything we see. Not only is it tempting for us to over-indulge, but we also want to share the bounty with our beloved animals. “Oh, a little bit won’t hurt you,” we rationalize. “It’s only once a year.”

More ways you CAN help! Save your deposit bottles and cans for Save-A-Pet!
Simply take your bottles and cans there for redemption and tell them to put it on Save-A-Pet's account. Save-A-Pet will receive 5 cents per bottle or can.

  2. Lockport's FAST CASH Bottle Redemption Center at 5714 South Transit Road (in the plaza behind Dunkin Donuts, Lockport).

  4. Dan's Cans, 718 S. Main St, Medina

All places will count them for you, no need to get your hands dirty! Don't forget plastic water bottles are deposit bottles too. This is one way everyone can help Save-A-Pet, and clean out your closet at the same time!
